Google has something else up their sleeve that may be really good news for businesses wanting the traffic that page one of the local search results can bring them. In San Francisco and San Diego, Google is experimenting with Local Listing Ads. These ads sit just above the local business results and sometimes just below the top Pay-Per-Click ads. in the photo below, they are the ones with the blue pins.
